Our Chefs
Chef de cuisine Greg Benney and his talented kitchen team are experts in creating menus to delight the most discerning palate. With a wonderful array of local and international cuisine to choose from, you are promised a memorable dining experience at the GCI.
Greg comes to the GCI Hotel kitchens most recently from the River Canteen on Brisbane's South Bank, where he held the position of Head Chef. He also has a background as a pastry chef, having training under Nicholas Van de Walt in South Africa. Greg's vast knowledge is a great asset to the GCI kitchen team.
